What we do

We create beautiful Australian made products that bring joy to people and are gentle on our planet. Our designs celebrate our amazing big blue planet and strive to spark joy in the people who use them. Inspired by nature, especially Australian landscapes, flora and fauna, our original designs blend a touch of whimsy with timeless Scandi style.

Our products are made from flat materials and are designed to cleverly and simply transform into beautiful 3D products. We specialise in contemporary stainless steel jewellery, 3D animal model kits, handcrafted children’s mobiles, Children’s Activity Kits and Christmas decorations. Designed with postage and travel in mind, all of our products are lightweight and compact – perfect for sending to friends and family living interstate and overseas.

Doing good

We’re into doing good, so much so that we made our mission our namesake – Go Do Good! We want to empower others to go do good by making it easier to find beautiful sustainable gift products for you and your special people. For us, doing good is all about creating quality, timeless products that are gentle on our planet. This is why we choose to make all our designs in Australia from sustainable materials. You can find out more about our commitment to sustainability here.

Doing good is also about helping people to reconnect – with each other, with themselves and with nature. Our designs are grounded in telling stories about our natural world, stories that make every moment special. We hope that our products become treasured keepsakes, gifts and mementoes of shared experiences, journeys and discoveries.

Behind the name

Hello! I’m Dorte Bell, the creator and creativity behind Go Do Good. I’m also a passionate nature lover, storyteller and professional industrial designer. My cultural heritage is Danish-Australian, which has influenced both my design philosophy (timeless quality design that is passed from one generation to the next) and my distinctly Scandi design aesthetic.

I’m an avid collector of all things from the natural world – shells, seedpods, stones – finding constant inspiration in their endless variety of patterns, shapes, colours and textures. My designs celebrate and showcase our natural environment, flora and fauna, hopefully inspiring others to cherish and protect them too.

With many family and friends living interstate and overseas, I have spent countless hours searching for authentic, sustainable Australian gifts to post or pack in my suitcase. It was this constant, often fruitless searching that inspired the creation of Go Do Good.
